Hi! My name is Lisbeth Sarahí. I am originally from San Miguel, El Salvador but immigrated to the US at the age of four with my mamá in hopes for a brighter future.

I will save you the sob story and give you a brief summary as to why I wanted to become an artist, specifically a graphic designer.

When I was six years old, my favorite class in school was art class, but I am not sure why it was my favorite. When I was eight years old, my papi passed away in a horrific boating accident. As an eight year old, I did not comprehend the concept of death, but I felt the sadness. I have never been expressive about my emotions so I turned to art. It was very therapeutic for me, a safe place (or canvas) where no one would judge me for how I felt. Fast forward 7 years, I am now a high school student deciding what I want to pursue for a career. My art teacher at the time Mr. C helped me explore my options as an artist, and I decided graphic design was the best fit for me. I continued to study graphic design and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelors in Fine Arts.
